Rebels (2014-2018)

"Star Wars Rebels" is an animated television series that serves as a follow-up to "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and is set between the events of "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith" and "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope." The series aired on Disney XD for four seasons from 2014 to 2018. The show follows a group of rebels who band together aboard the starship Ghost to resist the oppressive rule of the Galactic Empire. Led by the Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus and his apprentice Ezra Bridger, the crew includes the Mandalorian artist and explosives expert Sabine Wren, the Lasat warrior Zeb Orrelios, the astromech droid Chopper, and the Twi'lek pilot Hera Syndulla, who also serves as the group's leader. The series delves into the origins of the Rebel Alliance and its early victories against the Empire, setting the stage for the events of the original trilogy.

The Mandalorian (2019-)

This was the flagship series that launched with Disney+, and it quickly became a fan favorite. Set in the aftermath of the Empire's fall and before the rise of the First Order, "The Mandalorian" follows the titular character, Din Djarin, on his quest across the galaxy. As a lone bounty hunter, Mando initially takes on a mission to capture a mysterious and highly sought-after asset, which turns out to be Grogu, a Force-sensitive child of the same species as Jedi Master Yoda. Throughout the series, Mando forms a strong bond with Grogu while navigating various challenges and encounters with allies and adversaries alike.

The Book of Boba Fett (2021-2022)

A spin-off of "The Mandalorian," this series focuses on the notorious bounty hunter Boba Fett and his companion Fennec Shand. After his return in "The Mandalorian," Boba Fett teams up with Fennec to establish his authority in the criminal underworld of Tatooine, following the events of "Return of the Jedi." The series explores Boba Fett's journey of redemption and his efforts to solidify his place in the galaxy. It ended up being a disappointment to many fans, despite feauturing cameos from a Ahsoka Tano, R2D2, and a CGI Luke Skywalker. The series even consisted of an entire episode dedicated to the Mandalorian, which was ironically the best episode in the series.

The Bad Batch (2021-2024)

Another animated series set in the aftermath of "The Clone Wars," "The Bad Batch" follows a group of elite clone troopers with genetic mutations as they navigate the changing galaxy in the early days of the Empire's rise to power. The series feautures the exploits of Clone Force 99, also known as the Bad Batch. Led by the stoic and resourceful Hunter, the team includes the tech-savvy Wrecker, the sharpshooter Crosshair, the explosives expert Tech, and the newest member, Echo, a former ARC trooper who joined the group after the events of "The Clone Wars." "Star Wars: The Bad Batch" explores themes of identity, loyalty, and the nature of family as the members of Clone Force 99 grapple with their place in a galaxy torn apart by war and oppression. With its blend of action, humor, and heartfelt moments, the series offers fans an exciting new chapter in the Star Wars saga while honoring the legacy of "The Clone Wars" and its beloved characters.

Andor (2022-)

Set before the events of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," "Andor" follows the journey of Cassian Andor, a skilled intelligence officer and dedicated rebel spy. As a key member of the Rebel Alliance, Cassian undertakes dangerous missions to gather intelligence, sabotage Imperial operations, and rally support for the cause. The series explores Cassian's moral dilemmas, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment to the fight against the Empire.

obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)

This highly anticipated series focuses on the beloved Jedi Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, with Ewan McGregor reprising his role from the prequel trilogy. Set between the events of "Revenge of the Sith" and "A New Hope," the show promises to explore Obi-Wan's struggles with the aftermath of Order 66 and his self-imposed exile on Tatooine. As Obi-Wan watches over a young Luke Skywalker from afar, he grapples with his own inner turmoil and the lingering shadows of his past. Ahsoka (2023)

Ahsoka Tano, a former Jedi apprentice who played a key role in "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and "Star Wars Rebels," takes center stage in this spin-off series. Set after the events of "Star Wars Rebels," Ahsoka embarks on a quest to find Grand Admiral Thrawn, a formidable Imperial officer, while also searching for Ezra Bridger, a young Jedi who disappeared along with Thrawn. As she travels through the galaxy, Ahsoka confronts her past and grapples with her role in shaping the future of the Jedi Order. A major highlight of the show is an episode featuring flashback sequences from Ahsoka's past, featuring Hayden Christensen as Anakin/Vader.
