Guide to Student Financial Counseling 2006-2007
This guide serves as a reference source to address questions you may have throughout the various steps in the financial aid process.
- March 1 - Priority FAFSA filing due.
- June 1 - By this date federal processor must receive FAFSA or RFAFSA for New Jersey residents who previously received a Tuition Aid Grant.
- October 1 - By this date federal processor must receive FAFSA or RFAFSA for New Jersey residents who are initial applicants for Tuition Aid Grant.

*Please be advised that TCNJ will not be able to certify the loan(s) until you have completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), received an award letter from The College, and accepted the offered loan(s) via TESS.
**New borrowers must complete Entrance Loan Counseling before the first disbursement of their loan assistance at TCNJ. Borrowers graduating, ceasing enrollment, or withdrawing from TCNJ must complete Exit Loan Counseling prior to leaving the campus. Failure to oblige these requirements may result in award cancellation or the withholding of student records.
