Truck Load # 60
I started cutting wood (dead trees and deadfall) three years ago. This is
the 60th truck load, and only the begining
of the third summer of cutting
wood. This doesn't count the many chords of wood I have stacked. This is
all aspen but most of the wood is pine since the pine beetles have killed
almost all of the pines in the last five years.
(As of the end of 2007 I'd reached 104 truck loads.)
The pine trees you see in the background are now all dead. %$#*%^ pine beetles!
