This reservoir is located in the lower William's Fork Valley, and is at the end of the William's Fork River. Just out of sight to the left is the William's Peak Range. Ol' William must have been quite a guy. His last name was Byers, and there is a Byers Peak and a Byers Canyon. It just goes to prove that if you are first to get somewhere, you can name it yourself. I've never been first anywhere, so I've got nothing named after me.
