MINORITY
ACADEMIC CAREERS
Undergraduate Fellowship Program
The MAC Program is intended to demystify the college teaching profession for students from disadvantaged backgrounds and to make academic careers more viable and accessible for these students.
In the fall of 2004, the State of New Jersey revised student eligibility requirements for the Minority Academic Careers Program. Under the new revision, the designation "minority" now refers to economically disadvantaged students of all ethnicities and races.
