The NCUR program was a great way to learn about issues is the Trenton area – something I knew very little about.  The group held weekly discussions that covered a variety of topics and it was interesting to see how everything came together.  While we may not have brainstormed an exact formula for future success, we were able to make some recommendations for where we would like to see the city go.  In my individual project, I was able to apply my interest in socio-economic issues and I learned a great deal about current events in the non-profit world.  I now know how I would like to acquire more business skills before entering a field in public policy.  Overall the program was a great opportunity and I can only say that I wish it was a bit longer!
