This list will provide you with the most relevant tasks for you to complete regarding your financial aid. Additionally, it will provide important dates and a timeline of the various stages of the financial aid process.

You took the time to file your FAFSA; Here is your reward! All TCNJ students who filed a FAFSA for 2006/2007 and completed additional steps as requested will be awarded financial aid.

Do you need official transcripts? If you were a recipient of any Federal student loans (Stafford or Perkins) while enrolled at The College of New Jersey, you have one more step to complete to get your transcripts!
Submit your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for the 2006/2007 academic year. Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible to ensure that full consideration is given for all Federal and State financial aid resources.
Have you met the requirements of Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) for financial aid? There is a difference between SAP for continued enrollment/graduation and SAP for financial aid. Don't lose your eligibility for financial aid!
There are new Federal loan changes coming for the 2006/2007 academic year that will affect all students relying on Stafford and PLUS loans. Additionally, if you are thinking about loan consolidation there are important changes that you need to be aware of!

Keep up-to-date with TCNJ's billing cycle. The billing calendar is a great item to post in your home or office to remind you of upcoming billing due dates.
"Every June, millions of parents say the same three words to newly graduated high school seniors: "Get a job!" But work-averse teens sometimes argue that it isn't worth the effort, since every dollar they earn could reduce future college financial aid by as much as 50 cents," reports U.S. News and World Report. "Teens: Get ready to put those work gloves on. In a move that will no doubt delight parents, the government has reduced that penalty for working students."

Students may designate an alternate non-TCNJ e-mail address for billing notifications to be sent to the responsible bill payer (i.e. parents, guardian, work,etc...)
