DO YOU NEED OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS?

Were you a recipient of any federal student loans (Stafford or Perkins) while enrolled at The College of New Jersey?  If so, you are required by the United States Department of Education to complete Exit Loan Counseling.  This counseling must be completed via the internet at http://mapping-your-future.org.  Our office will be electronically notified once you have completed the counseling. Failure to complete this requirement will result in the placement of a “hold” on your transcripts at TCNJ.

Perkins loan borrowers will also receive a Truth in Lending Statement in the mail.  This schedule informs the borrower when loan repayment begins, where the payments should be mailed and how many payments are to be made before the loan is paid in full.  Please sign and return the Truth in Lending Statement to TCNJ in a timely manner.
