Martin A. Bierbaum

Martin A. Bierbaum’s academic background includes masters degrees in political science, city and regional planning, a J.D. degree and a Ph.D. in Planning and Public Policy.  Dr. Bierbaum worked in New Jersey State government from May 1987 through January 2004.  Before coming to State government, he was a member of the Rutgers University faculty in Public Administration and director of an undergraduate Urban Studies program. In January 2004, Dr. Bierbaum assumed the post of Executive Director of a newly established, federally-funded Municipal Land Use Center at The College of New Jersey (MLUC at TCNJ).


Angel Hernandez is a rising senior sociology and women and gender studies major.  He is also the Assistant Residence Director (ARD) of Wolfe Hall, and the President of The College of New Jersey's Prism.  Prism is TCNJ's only group for gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people, and the heterosexual people who support them and the movement for equality, regardless of sexuality.  Angel is also a student-intern at the Municipal Land Use Center (MLUC).  Upon completing his undergraduate studies at TCNJ, Angel hopes to pursue a Master's in Social Work (MSW) program.
