Class Schedule Spring 2008
Intermediate Lindy: Wednesdays, 8pm - 9pm
Classes begin Wednesday February 6th.
This semester brings a change of pace, and we're doing our first ever intermediate/advanced series! The intermediate classes will be teaching steps and moves for those of you who have had some Lindy experience. However, beginners are welcome and encouraged to come and try it, as our first lesson will be a review, and the officers are currently trying to work out a practicing schedule outside of class. Keep checking back for updates on practice times!
Advanced Lindy: Wednesdays, 9pm - 10pm
In the beginning, the lessons will be mostly review and somewhat on the same level. However, as the semester progresses, we're going to have our first advanced classes in the history of TCNJ Swing, and the difference between the intermediate and the advanced will become more apparent. Experience is highly suggested for these lessons, however, if you're keeping up with the intermediate classes, you're sure to catch on to the advanced ones! Again, everyone is encouraged to come down and try it out!
Practices:
As stated previously, we're trying to get together a weekly practice time outside of class to help those of you who want to begin this semester and need to learn the basics, or for those of you who just want some extra practice and time to dance! Keep checking back for updates on place and time.
All classes are held in the Dance Studio on the second floor of Packer Hall (Room 256). Scroll down for directions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need a partner?
A: NO. Everyone dances with everyone else during lessons. Even at functions outside of TCNJ, having a partner is unnecessary.
Q: I don't go to TCNJ. Can I still come to lessons?
A: Yes! See above for pricing information.
Q: What kind of shoes do I wear?
A: Something comfortable with a slippery bottom. Normal sneakers with rubber bottoms are not recommended because they stick to the floor. You could hurt yourself. Suggestion: Go to a shoe repair store and ask them to glue "chrome leather" to the bottom. Or at least you can get them covered in suede.
