LEAVING SO SOON? HOW ABOUT AN EXIT INTERVIEW?EXIT INTERVIEW REQUIRED FOR GRADUATION Recipients of federal student loans (Stafford and / or Perkins) received while enrolled at TCNJ are required by the United States Department of Education to complete Exit Loan Counseling. This counseling must be completed via the internet at www.mapping-your-future.org. Our office will be automatically and electronically notified once you have completed the counseling. When visiting the web site, www.mapping-your-future.org, please note there are separate exit interviews for Stafford and Perkins loans. If you were a recipient of either of those loans, complete the interview that pertains to the type of loan you borrowed. If you were a recipient of both types of loans, you must complete both interviews. If you have a Stafford Loan you will need to know the Lender and Guarantor to complete the session. To obtain this information and your individual cumulative borrowing history under the federal student loan programs, view either of the following web sites; www.nslds.ed.gov or www.nslc.org. For Perkins Loan borrowers only, a Truth in Lending Statement will be mailed to you. This schedule informs the borrower when loan payments start, where the payments should be mailed, and how many payment are to be made before the loan is paid in full. Please sign the Truth in Lending Statement and return it to TCNJ as soon as possible. |
