Never Understood The Tuition Bill?Now...New and Improved For You!
How many of you have received the e-mail notification advising you to go to TESS, view the tuition bill, and make sure it gets paid? As all of you are shaking your head up and down knowing exactly what is being said, many of you are saying, "I'm so confused when I look at the tuition bill, I have no idea what balance is owed." The Office of Student Accounts has heard all of your concerns regarding the tuition bill on TESS and has made some much needed revisions and improvements to the tuition bill. Developed and released in early October 2007, the tuition bill is now more reader friendly. A new feature on the tuition bill is a link to the "Detailed Explanation of Bill." This link is located at the top of the tuition bill just to the right of the billing statement summary. This link will take users to a screen which gives a detailed description of each item listed in the billing summary including:
There is no more guesswork needed as to how the College came up with these figures! One of the biggest improvements made was the relocation of the "Total Amount Due" figure to the bottom of the summary on the tuition bill. Just like a credit card statement or household utility statement, the bottom figure on the bill is the amount owed. Lastly, below the newly created "Detailed Explanation of Bill" link is another new link entitled "Description of Fees". This link will allow users to view a detailed description and explanation of each fee charged on the tuition bill. This allows the user to identify exactly where the monies paid are going. Take a moment to go to your TESS account, view your tuition bill, and use the new links. Hopefully we have been able to make your visitation to the tuition billing site a little less stressful. |
