Financial Services 'to-do' list

1.  Complete the 2006/07 FAFSA.  If filing FAFSA on the Web, go directly to www.fafsa.ed.gov.

2.  Meet The College of New Jersey's priority deadline for filing the FAFSA by March 1, 2006.

3.  Read/review the Student Aid Report (SAR) for any necessary corrections or updates.  If you do not hear from the federal processor within three weeks, go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and select "check the status of a submitted FAFSA".

4.  Summer Financial Aid Applications are available on March 1, 2006.  Visit our web site www.tcnj.edu/~osfa/summer.html.

5.  April 30, 2006 - Spring Graduates - Students with loans must complete Exit Loan Counseling at www.mapping-your-future.org. 

6.   June 1, 2006 - Federal Processor must receive FAFSA 2006/2007 for returning students to be considered for Tuition Aid Grant (TAG).

7.  June 30, 2006 - Last day students may apply for Summer Session financial aid.  Also last day 2005/2006 FAFSA may be received by Federal Processor to qualify for Summer 2006 aid.

8.  July 15, 2006 - Approximate date that financial aid awards will be available to view on TESS for 2006/2007.

9.  July 21, 2006 - Approximate date that students will receive bill notification for Fall 2006.

10.  August 25, 2006 - Approximate date that Fall bill payment will be due.

11.  August 30, 2006 - Summer Graduates - students with loans must complete Exit Loan Counseling at www.mapping-your-future-org.

12.  October 1, 2006 - Federal Processor must receive 2006/2007 FAFSA for new students to be considered for Tuition Aid Grant (TAG).
