What Are You Paying For???Student Service Fee: funds the student's contribution towards student services that are fee driven such as the Health Center, Athletics, Intramurals, Campus Wellness Services, Fitness Services, etc. General Service Fee: funds the construction ,restoration and maintenance for various student and academic facilities on campus such as the Science Complex, Social Science Building, new Library, etc. Student Activity Fee: Collected by the College on behalf of the Student Finance Board (SFB). The SFB is responsible for allocation and management of the funds. The SFB is comprised of various clubs, service organizations and activities of the college campus for the purpose of enriching the co-curricular life of the College community. ID Fee: Supports the cost of operation The College's "One-Card" Program. Health Insurance Fee: is charged each semester for all undergraduate and graduate full time students. This charge must be paid with all other college fees unless a health insurance waiver form is obtained, completed and returned to the Health Services Office. Waiver forms are available from the Office of Health Services located in Eickhoff Hall room 107. The utilization of Health Services prior to submitting the completed waiver form will nullify the opportunity to waive the health insurance fee. Consult with Health Services for deadlines. Computer Access Fee: funds the computing infrastructure throughout the campus. Student use of computer services and particularly Internet services, has increased significantly. This fee enables the College to provide state of the art access and services. Parking Fee: The parking decal fee is charged to all Upper class (not Freshmen) Undergraduate and Graduate students for parking in assigned lots across campus. If the student has no need to purchase this decal, they must complete the parking waiver form which can be found on the Parking Services web site at www.tcnj.edu/~parking. The waiver form is only available online through August 31st. After that date, students will have to visit the Student Accounts Office located in Green Hall, room 119, to waive the charge. |
