ABOUT THE CONDUCTOR. . .

Roger McKinney is Professor of Clarinet and Music History at The College of New Jersey where, since 1957 still maintains an active schedule of performing and teaching. He received a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the State University of New York at Potsdam, New York and a B.S. and M.S. in clarinet from the Juilliard School of Music in New York City. Former Principal Clarinet of both the Trenton Symphony Orchestra and the Princeton Chamber Orchestra for thirty years, he spends time presenting Master Classes in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. For the academic year 1995-96, he was Fulbright Professor to the University of Frankfurt and Die Hochschule für Musik in Frankfurt, Germany.
