Junior Year:
- Coming off a personal
best season that saw him collect 279 points (11.2 ppg), 129
rebounds (5.2 rpg), 30 assists, and 28 steals. Vaught added
a career-high 13 rebounds in the season finale against Montclair
State (February 16, 2002).
- Now has 491 points and
235 rebounds on his career in 61 games played.
- Finished the season
in second place in the Lions' scoring race while starting 20
of the 25 games he played in as a junior.
- Was the team's high
scorer eight times last year and led the squad seven different
times as well on the boards.
- Converted 37.8% of his shots from downtown (45-111) and was
ranked seventh in the NJAC in three-point field goal percentage
on the season.
- Overall, he shot 40.7% from the floor (90-221), while adding
a 71.1% average from the line.
- Career high 23 points against Richard Stockton (January 23,
2002).
Sophomore Year:
- Played in all 24 games, starting 16
- Averaged 8.2 ppg and connected on 32 three point FG’s
- Finished third on team with 96 rebounds
- Commited just 28 turnovers in 546 minutes played
- Led team in scoring four times and rebounding five times
- Had 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists on 11/17/00 vs. City
College of New York
- Scored 14 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and dished out 4 assists
vs. Ramapo College on 11/25/00
- Scored 13 points and pulled down 7 boards vs. FDU-Madison
on 1/4/01
- Came off the bench to hit four three pointers and score 16
points at Rowan Universityon 1/17/01

- Saw action in 12 games as a freshman, averaging 1.3 ppg

- As a senior at Solebury Prep, Gyl earned All-Prep honors after
averaging 14.7 ppg and 7.3 rpg
