In Module 2, you learned the basic principles of searching an online periodical index and, by extension, an online library catalog. Now, you should be ready to practice applying these principles. You'll do this in a library online periodical index, referred to simply as a "database" by many people familiar with the library on the TCNJ campus.

Practicing searching principles you learned in Module 2, in an easy to use multidisciplinary TCNJ library periodical database, should help you to do effective research in the TCNJ library and other libraries.

This module will focus on selecting a periodical database for your topic, practicing using a periodical database, and obtaining a copy of an article.
