Undergraduate Research My first experiences with mathematical biology
research were during my undergraduate years. There are some
great opportunities for those undergraduates interested in
mathematical biology research, both at TCNJ and at other institutions.
I
am always interested in conducting research with motivated
undergraduates who are passionate about applying mathematics to answer questions about cancer. Email me if you are interested!
Students can also consider applying for external research opportunities. The
following link gives a noncomprehensive list of some undergraduate mathematics
research opportunities: Summer
Undergraduate Research Programs in Mathematics.
Why Study Mathematics?
I've compiled a list of cool and exciting things you can do with a math major here.
A great guide
has been compiled by TechGuide on "How to Find a Tech Career with
Numbers" that you may find really useful as you design your
undergraduate experience.
Or
if
you're more the type that wonders how math could ever be useful to you,
you may find the following site
