Returning for a third season
to the Lion coaching staff is Frank Francisco, who is no stranger to
TCNJ's football program. A 1965 graduate of Trenton State College, Francisco
comes to TCNJ after serving as the assistant coach in charge of tight
ends at Princeton University from 1996-1999.
Francisco began his coaching
career in 1966 as an assistant coach at Princeton High School, and became
the program's associate coach in 1973, a position he held until 1978.
A former assistant coach at Princeton University, he was the offensive
coordinator for the Tigers' lightweight football program for four seasons,
before being named the associate head coach of the squad in 1984. He
held that position for four seasons, before assuming the job as head
football coach at the Pennington School from 1990-92.
Francisco returned to the Tigers'
sidelines in 1993, serving as assistant coach and offensive coordinator
for the lightweight football team at Princeton from 1993-95.
A 1965 graduate of TSC, Francisco
holds his masters' degree from Trenton State and pursued further graduate
study at Rutgers University.
