1.        Cover Page  (5% of Final Grade)

Score of 3.  The cover page contains all of the required information fields that are detailed in the course grading policy

Score of 2. The cover page contains most of the required information fields that are detailed in the course grading policy

Score of 1.  The cover page contains half or fewer of the required information fields that are detailed in the course grading policy 

Score of 0.  No cover page found

2.        Table of Contents  (5% of Final Grade)

Score of 3.  The table of content references all assignments made on the assignments section of the course web page and in class

Score of 2.  The table of content references most assignments made on the assignments section of the course web page and in class

Score of 1. The table of content references half or fewer of the assignments made on the assignments section of the course web page and in class

Score of 0. No table of content found

3.        Problem Statements and Labeling  (15% of Final Grade)

Score of 3.  All homework assignments are stated and labeled according to the requirements outlined on the grading policy for the course 

Score of 2. Most homework assignments are stated and labeled according to the requirements outlined on the grading policy for the course

Score of 1.  One-half or fewer of the homework assignments are stated and labeled according to the requirements outlined on the grading policy for the course

4.        Scope of Work Submitted (35% of Final Grade)

Score of 3.  The amount of work submitted meets or exceeds what was assigned for the course

Score of 2.  The amount of work submitted includes approximately 75% or more of what was assigned for the course

Score of 1.  The amount of work submitted includes approximately 50% or more than what was assigned for the course

Score of 0.  The amount of work submitted includes approximately 25% or less than what was assigned for the course

5.        Problem Work  (35% of Final Grade)

Score of 3.  Whenever possible a complete process for how a final answer was arrived at is included and all of the problems are answered

Score of 2.  In a majority of the cases where it is possible, a complete process for how a final answer was arrived at is included and most of the problems are answered

Score of 1.  In a minority of the cases where it is possible, a complete process for how a final answer was arrived at is included and half or fewer of the problems are attempted

Score of 0.  A complete process is rarely if ever included and very few problems are attempted

 

6.        Overall Appearance and Presentation  (5% of Final Grade)

Score of 3. The homework portfolio is packaged neatly and conforms with all requirements stated in the course grading policy

Score of 2.  The homework portfolio is packaged neatly and conforms with most requirements stated in the course grading policy

Score of 1.  The homework portfolio is not packaged neatly and conforms with few of the requirements stated in the course grading policy

Score of 0. The homework portfolio is unorganized and conforms with none of the requirements stated in the course grading policy
