Current Status at The College of New Jersey:

Dr. Hill is currently a professor and department chair of the department of Health and Physical Education. He is also the President of the Faculty Senate.

Education:

Dr. Hill received his undergraduate degree in Health Science at Lock Haven University. He received his M. Ed. in Health and Physical Education at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He went back to the State University of New York at Buffalo to receive his D. Ed in Health and Physical Education.

Current Professional Assignments and Activities

Dr. Hill is a member of the Editorial Board for The Reporter, Journal for the NJAHPERD. He is also involved with the Conrad Hilton/BEST Foundation as a certified Project Alert trainer for New Jersey (Drug Prevention Program for grades 7-8).

Interesting Facts:

Dr. Hill won the NHJAHPERD Honor Award in 1994. He has published articles in magazines such as The Reporter, JOPERD - The Journal of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, and The Physical Educator.

Current Teaching:

Dr. Hill now teaches HLED 160, Current Health and Wellness Issues. Some topics this course covers includes:

stress management
aging
death and dying
drugs
alcohol
fitness
sexuality
environmental issues
