These experiments are designed to investigate:
- The relevance of pulley diameter on the amount of line released per revolution of a pulley
- The mechanical advantage of using multiple sets of pulleys in conjunction with each other
- The varying mechanical advantage of an inclined pulley system
Time Requirements (for a recommended group size of 2 to 3 people):
- Setup Time: 10 to 15 minutes
- Experiment Time: approx. 60 minutes
