Sesquicentennial Sole and Exclusive Sponsorship LevelsFriends of The College of New Jersey are encouraged to consider supporting the Sesquicentennial celebration through sponsorship of a major event or activity. Sponsorship of an event or project provides the donor with the sole and exclusive opportunity to promote their business throughout that Sesquicentennial activity. Sole and exclusive sponsors are separate and distinct from general sponsorship listed later in this brochure. Recognition of the sole and exclusive sponsor will be included in TCNJ Magazine and Alumni Accent. The Sesquicentennial Web site and the Alumni Electronic Community (AEC) will also highlight targeted event sponsorships beginning 60 days prior to the event. In addition, programs for each major event will recognize the sponsor with information about the company and its leaders. Sole and exclusive sponsors will be invited to a reception at President Gitenstein's home. Major Sesquicentennial EventsFounders' Day- February 9, 2005 ($15,000)Founders' Day marks the signing of the legislation which established the College. Events on the drawing board include a State House breakfast, academic symposiums throughout the day, and an on-campus assembly followed by a ceremonial cake cutting. The day will be a time for wearing blue and gold as we show off our college colors. The sponsor will be provided four tickets for the State House breakfast and will be introduced at the on-campus assembly. Commencement- May 13, 2005 ($10,000)A special commemoration will highlight Graduation. The sponsor will be introduced and seated prominently. Grand Finale Weekend-October 7-9, 2005 ($15,000)This weekend of activities will bring the celebration to an extraordinary conclusion with events that will unite the extended college community. Sesquicentennial Activities and ProjectsPictorial History of The College ($10,000)A photographic history, this commemorative keepsake will be filled with archival pictures and images that document the growth and development of the College. The sponsor's name will be prominently displayed, and the book will include a corporate narrative, as well as your best wishes. Sesquicentennial Art Exhibit Series ($20,000)Exhibits during the year will present the work of students, graduates, faculty, as well as an exhibit of international art, representative of the styles prevalent when the College was established. The sponsor will be recognized with appropriate signage and introduced at the opening reception for each exhibit. Campus Musical Performances during Sesquicentennial Celebration ($10,000)Sponsor all student musical performances during the Sesquicentennial, from classical and opera, to theater, vocal, and instrumental. The sponsor will be recognized with appropriate signage and will receive two complementary tickets for each performance. Fourth of July Parade Float ($5,000)Help to promote TCNJ and your business with the Sesquicentennial Float that will be a prominent part of Ewing Township's 2005 annual July 4th Celebration.
